Hertz wanted to celebrate their 100th birthday across Europe and to announce that they were launching a new fleet of prestige cars.
The risk? Centenaries celebrate the past not the future and Hertz could end up looking old and out of touch.
Hertz wanted to remind customers how much better any trip can be if you do it in style – by offering selected customers 24hrs in a limited edition Maserti. All they had to do was tweet, FB or Instagram Hertz, telling them what they wanted it for with #HertzCenturyCar. People started to imagine the possibilities and we began dropping off Maseratis all over Europe.
