Small businesses have a negative perception of applying for loans from banks – too bureaucratic and slow.

The risk? Small businesses would either think that the White Oak loan experience was similar to banks, or else they’d be attracted by the massive media spending of rivals like Funding Circle.

RETHINK

White Oak are the exact opposite of banks – they’re fast and agile. So, our campaign literally flipped the communications. Targeted display and social meant we could find our audience with a fraction of our competitor’s traditional media approach, and a content and PRM strategy guided prospects through the loan process.

RESULTS

The campaign delivered £20 million in new deals – a ROMI of 274%, rising to 969% based on customer LTV.
